Dear New Citizen, Congratulations on your decision to make Paulding County your home. We welcome you to be a part of our growing community. Paulding County has proven to be the"County of Choice" for this new millennium. Paulding has much to offer its residents one thing is our unique location called the"ABC Triangle" ... Atlanta, Birmingham and Chattanooga because of our accessibility to these large cities. Another is the direct route on our Highway 278 to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the close proximity to the great offerings of Atlanta. There is something for everyone. Whether it is attending a Braves game, visiting the new Aquarium, climbing Stone Mountain, or getting away from it all in a country setting--you can find it here. We are rich in Civil War History with one of the best-preserved battlefields in the nation. We are rich in natural resources, such as land, waterfalls, parks, and walking trails. But, our greatest natural resource is our people. You will find Paulding County citizens to be very friendly and helpful to you and your family. Of course, I am partial to our county government and its employees. I believe that you will find everyone ready to be of service to you.
